It was a good presentation especially last two pictures known as Migrant Mother which represent the Great Depression very well. Also I agree with the last answer "The role of the photo now is for people to see and understand the struggles these people faced at the time".
In my opinion, I believe that the project has significant impact on the society, because it has enough power to change or move people's mind. Also according to American memory it said "The photographers in both units documented America's mobilization during the early years of World War II, concentrating on such topics as aircraft factories and women in the workforce."
In the past, the role of Migrant Mother photograph informed people about how poor farmers' families suffered from the poverty, and encouraged them to overcome that situations. These days, the role of Migrant Mother photograph becomes the symbol of the great depression, and help us to understand at that time.
